In January 1991, The Strand College of Beauty Therapy (SCB) received their formal accreditation by CIDESCO, and today is the FIRST fully accredited college in the City of Sydney, Australia. Students can graduate with Nationally Recognised Diploma of Beauty Therapy WRB50199A and International associations attainment (AQF Accredited).

¡Ø Prior to being a candidate for the CIDESCO Diploma the student must have completed a minimum of 1200 hours of Beauty Therapy training in a CIDESCO accredited college. Successful candidates are then required to gain at least 600 hours salon experience before being awarded their CIDESCO Diploma and CIDESCO Badge. (Aestheticians who have not been trained at an International Accredited CIDESCO School but have at least 3 years salon experience may be upgraded to CIDESCO standards by taking the CIDESCO examination.)
