The Bachelor
of Exercise Science offered by ACU has been
designed to enable students to consider a
wide variety of career options related to
sports science, exercise science, leisure
and recreation, community and corporate fitness,
and sports coaching. Completion of specialisations
is directed to appropriate national professional
recognition. |

Bachelor of Exercise Science
The full-time course takes three years. Its design
may permit some elite athletes / sports persons
with appropriate guidance to study for a degree
and still have time to seek selection and pursue
the intensive training associated with representative
sport and team participation. Students
will be required to undertake field experiences
as well as complete professional activities.

Diploma in Exercise Science
The Diploma program has been
designed to faciliate flexible entry into the Bachelor
of Exercise Science program. A student may exit
after one semester with a certificate in Foundation
Studies. Students are granted 8 subject credits
in the degree course upon successful completion
of the Diploma course.
